I'm looking for Thomas M. Thompson. He was born between 1804 and 1809. Not sure where. He left the U.K. in the 1820's and came to America. He was a sailor by trade. He was in New Olreans by 1826. I found a "Thomas M. Thompson" in Portsmouth, but it doesn't appear to be my man.
