I am looking for the baptism record of two men in Gussage. They are:

Eli LODER, born c1831.
Simeon LODER, born c1836.

If possible I would like their parents names.

Just need to confirm that Simeon had a son called William in Woodlands in 1861/62 and see if Williams marrage certificate list Simeon as his father and it will confirm a relationship between my LAMBERTS & Eli LOADERs family.

No William in 1871, unless Joseph's first or middle name was William...

There are four William LOADERs born about 1861/62 born and/or living in Dorset in the 1871 census -- one the grandson of a George LOADER, one with his mother Harriet, one the son of a Joseph LOADER and one the son of Martin LOADER. The last two fathers and the last William all born in Woodlands, Dorset.

Not Simeon then. My William LOADER is listed in the 1881 Census living as a lodger, 20 years old, occupation Carpenter and being born in Woodlands, Dorset. Maybe its Martins son who is the correct one.

Hello Trish,

Thanks again for the latest information. I'm going to have to find Williams marriage certificate to prove anything but I think it might be Martin LOADER. The only reason I say this is William called his daughter Florence and as you can see Martin's William has a sister called Florence.

The one I know it is not is Eli LOADERs as I found both his William & my William in the 1881 census.
