Something I wrote in another thread made me remember this. If you have Presbyterian missionaries in your family you might find this link useful.

As well as containing a lot of interesting missionary history, if you type the name you're looking for into their search our site box it will give you a list of any information they have on that person.
I found them very helpful and for a small fee they supplied me with copies of letters and minute book entries from my grandmother's file. They're also on the lookout for letters & photographs relating to the mission work from people's family collections to add to their archive.
