Does anybody have any information on Matthew Johnson c1778 Longbenton, I have some confusion over his marriage(s)? and children. At the age of 72, in the 1851 Census he appears to have a son of 45 married and a son of 9. Any help would be appreciated.

Have checked 1851 Census and only 2 Matthew Johnsons listed.

Neither born in Longbenton. One is aged 72 but given as a visitor - no other mebers of his family present.

hello i have a matthew johnson 1778 of longbenton in my tree, i believe he married twice, his son thomas was living in the wapping ,benton square area around this time as his son john my great great grandfather was born there in 1850.
