James Adey born Kingswood, Gloucester, c1839

I have stumbled across James Adey, born approx 1839 in Kingswood, Gloucester who was in prison in Chatham, Kent in 1881. Does anyone please have an earlier Gloucester census so that I might be able to work out who his family were.
