Hi everyone
I am looking for any descendents or information about McDonalds living on the Isle of Scalpay before c1843. I understand that in 1841 there were three families called McDonald on the island.
Specifically I am looking for any information about Godfrey MacDonald and Elizabeth Montgomery.
The parish of Strath records show three children James William b1827, John b1830 and Christ b1832. There should also be another Norman baptised 25 Dec 1832
