I have traced Aaron Adey back to Riley Street, Willenhall in the 1881 census, unfortunately he was living as a lodger then. Could anyone do me the favour of a look up in an earlier census please.
Thanks

Hi John,
Could this be your Aaron Adey?
1871. All living at King Street, Willenhall
Jeremiah Adey, head, mar, 45, Locksmith, Wednesfield
Emma Adey, wife, mar, 43, Wednesfield
Jonah, son, unmar, 18, Locksmith, Wednesfield
Rosannah, daug, 13, Scholar, Willenhall
Aaron, son, 11, Scholar, Willenhall
Arthur, son, 6, Scholar, Willenhall
RG10/2942, Folio 72, Page 18
For your interest, my husband knows this area and informs me that Legge Lock Makers of Stafford Street, were and still are very prominent in Willenhall, producing such items as door locks, padlocks, latches, bolts etc.
Best wishes
Brenda

Over the last 24 hours I've found a real load of nonsense in the Ancestry transcriptions. One lesson learnt.

Hello John
Ah, so you have Ancestry?
I've discovered that one needs to be creative sometimes ;)
However this same Staffordshire family is also there in the 1861 census.
Aaron c.1860 is *Aron* Adey. That should help you find him
