I am hoping someone can find Richard Taylor and his family for me. Richard was born in Rockingham about 1813. I have looked at the 1871 and 1881 census records but can't find him there.
I was wondering if someone with access to the 1851 or the 1861 census records could help me find my lost ancestor.

Hi Carrie

There are 7 Richard Taylors living in Northamptonshire in 1861. The nearest in age to your searchee is 50 years old. Do you know wife's or childrens names for cross-referencing?

All I know about Richard Taylor is that he was baptized at (St. Leonard's Church) Rockingham Parish, Rockingham, 7 February 1813. He was the 9th child of William and Hannah Taylor (nee Browett). His father William was the local policeman for Rockingham, and some of the children worked at Rockingham Castle. I don't know if Richard married, or fathered children.
Thankyou for your help.
Carrie
