married 7 Apr 1839 Aston Juxta Birmingham, Warwickshire

Jemima EVANS b. abt 1816 death in Australia has not been found

Not born Warwickshire according to census but married in Warwickshire.

Edward's funeral notice lists him as a brass finisher.

Fred, do you know the names of Jemimas Parents? & did you see the death of a Jemima Farmer in Waterloo 1885? Parents Henry & Jemima.

Sorry, I have no info from shipping record because they have not yet been found 1841-1846.

Yes, I've seen that death but that one is spouse of a George still living.

The marriage is listed on the familysearch site, looking at the original Parish Register entry may tell you who the father's are, their employment and 'family' witnesses.

Check your local LDS centre on in the library section of the site

The Jemima listed d/o Shadrach is not yours, I can find her on the 1861 census! One done plenty to go!!!!!

LDS beta have a marriage of Jemima Evans to Henry Sutton in Sydney in 1853, though can't see a death for Edward.There is also a birth of Sarah Ann 1 Jul 1847 to Edward and Jemima.

Hello geneius,

Thanks. The LDS centre is about 30 km away by bus and at the moment I'm mobility limited. The marriage details on the FamilySearch site contain no more detail than the entry on IGI. I have seen other entries on the new site with ages and parents names so it would be a very long trip to find on viewing the film that there is no more detail.
