James Bond
Born 7 Jul 1797 Brentford, Middlesex, England
Christened 30 Jul 1797 St Mary, Ealing, Middlesex, England

I'm wondering if he could be the Baker from High St. re: Pigots.
Also, could someone look up the census for me?

Looks like the right James Bond to me.
Many Thanks,

Ellen BOND, daughter of James BOND (baker) and Ann, New Brentford, was baptised on 24 January 1830 in the District Chapelry of St.George, Old Brentford in the parish of Ealing, Middlesex (born 2 December 1829)

In the same chapel, to the same parents:
Caroline baptised 5 Aug 1832 (born 17 July)
Mary Ann baptised 7 Sep 1834 (born 19 July)
Henry baptised 25 Sep 1836 (born 2 Sep)
Charles baptised 21 March 1841 (born 11 July 1839)

If this is the same family that Graham found in 1851 then it looks as if Margaret was a second wife.

London Metropolitan Archives:
Marriage in the Parish Church, Ealing on 28 April 1855
Charles Nash ABBOTT, of full age, butcher, Ealing, son of James Andrew ABBOTT, Gentleman.
Ellen BOND, of full age, Old Brentford, daughter of James BOND, baker.
The marriage was by Licence
One of the witnesses was James BOND and the other was Emily, but I can't make out the surname.

Burials in St.George, Old Brentford

Caroline BOND buried 10 July 1833 aged 12 months
Henry BOND buried 13 February 1840 aged 3 and a half
Ann BOND buried 9 August 1849, aged 50

Could this be the second marriage?

St.Mary's Lambeth, 19 February 1849
James Cyrus BOND, widower, dairyman, 13 Caroline Street, son of William BOND, coach maker
Mary Ann Lovett JONES, spinster, 30 Wood Street, daughter of John Lovett JONES dec'd, broker
Witnesses: William BOND and Harriet BOND

|oopsredfa Edit: Actually, I don't think this is the right one after all. Not only has he stopped being a baker, but his father is listed as William. I have just looked at the 1797 baptism for James and I see his parents were John and Ann.

James the baker is on the 1861 census at RG9; Piece: 778; Folio: 120; Page: 21 (TNA Crown copyright) living at High Street, Ealing and employing two men. His wife Mary is with him and his son Charles, a baker's assistant.

Frederick Bond on this group sheet is the one I believe to be my GGG Grandfather.
James Bond was found on the internet by one of my cousins, we are all hoping that
we have the right family, it sure feels like them.
Thanks for all your help Sue.
I love this site.
