on the 1841 and 1851 census the family are living in aberstryth.
what confuses me is that they lived and died around bedwelty and aberstryth areas, and are buried at mynyddislwyn church???

Just a stab here.

If Thomas Edwards was born in mynyddislwyn, could it be they had a family plot & were buried there, no matter where they died ?

I have been researching my family tree and your post popped up!
We are related?! I have also been looking into Thomas Edwards, however I didn't know he had a first wife
I only knew about Susannah
I am sorry I can't help with your enquiry and I hope you found your answer!
Do you have any information on Thomas Edwards' parents?
This is all I have.
THOMAS EDWARDS Born: 1739 Married: 1780 SARAH ROGERS in Llanhilleth, Monmouthshire, Wales
And being in Australia has hindered my research efforts.
I am connected to the tree from LEAH SELINA WARLOW and her daughter SUSANNA ROWAN
does that ring any bells?

There's an Albert Edwin Warlow with a war grave in Abertillery.
