Hi,
I am looking for a place in Worcester, mentioned on the census as being a place of birth.
In 1861 it is Leysinton, in 1871 it is Lyecinton.
Does anyone have any idea what this place may be as I cannot find it as parish?
Thanks,
Sue

Hi Sue,

I cant find the place either. Have you access to the 1851 census if this person was born then. If not post details and I will have a look, maybe it may have correct place of birth.

thats fantastic, thanks very much for your help.

Julie - I dont have them in 1851, but if you are able to look I would be grateful. They - George(b1802) & Emily/Emma (b 1822 or 1827 depending on census!) MAPP were living at Old Field Dymock Gloucestershire in 1861 and 71.
