    Default Burma Star

    Hi all, i am new here, but i am trying to trace my grandfather's movements, but i am not getting very far. He was in Burma, and was awarded the Burma Star. He survived the war, but that's all i know. His name was H. E. Whyte. Any tips please?

    Hi

    All WW2 records are still with MOD, you will not find anything for him online.
    Apply for them - https://www.gov.uk/get-copy-military-service-records
    He would have been awarded more that the Burma Star too.
