    Victor E Markham birth registered Dec 1/4 1919 Registration district - Glendale Northumberland, vol 10b page 113a. Mother's maiden name Elliott.
    He died in 1938. He was on the vessel Jamaica Planter. You can buy the death certificate from the GRO (it is in their Marine Death Indices 1903 to 1965)

    AB Victor E MARKHAM died 11 April 1939 'Lost overboard at sea and presumed drowned'

    of 9 Queensbury Avenue Deanside Durham

    His date of birth 27 Nov 1919

    The 'Jamaican Planter' appears to have been owned / used by the Jamaican Banana Producers Association, likely to sail Kingston - London
