    Default Lothians Horse

I am trying to trace a family member who fought in WWII.
He was James Taylor Seatter who was in the Lothians Horse which later became the Royal armoured Corp.
He joined around 1940 and was in Africa,Italy and possibly Austria.
I am new to this type of research and so find it hard going to trace connections.
Can anyone guide me on which is best to find out.

    Welcome to the British-Genealogy forums.

WW11 personal service records are still held by the MOD so will not be found online. This sticky explains who can apply for them, where, and what documentation you will need -including a death certificate. You will also need plenty of patience as so many others are on the same quest right now.
