Reply to feedback questionaire I responded to
Within the next coming months, the entire Probate Calendar will be published which will include actual images of the calendar and therefore include the deceased address’s which will alleviate the problem.

Looks like it's really happening
As of Friday the 12th December, the Probate Service will make available an index of records from 1858 to the present and the records of some soldiers who died on active military service between 1860 and 1982 (predominantly those who died in the First World War) for searching online. The London Probate Search Rooms at the Principal registry will close a week later.
