    Smile First-person accounts during the BotB

    I am a high school student participating in the International Baccalaureate program and a requirement is a 4000 word essay. The topic I have chosen is on the Tiger Ausf. B and its effectiveness during the Battle of the Bulge. I was wondering if there was any first-person accounts by any British soldiers on the front at the time that may have specifically encountered the King Tiger or the Leibstandarte Adolf Hitler Division (Panzerkampfgruppe Peiper) and the 12th SS Hitlerjugend Division who were involved with the Tiger II. I know mostly US soldiers were involved in the conflict, but British soldiers were around the region.

    Your best chance of finding anything is probably to search the National Archives HERE.
    I'm not optimistic as WW2 soldier's records have not yet been released, but there might be more formal discussion.
