I am new to this. The only record of my grandfather, who fought in the WW1 is on this website.
His name was Thomas John Littlewood and he survived active Service. Unable to find much information, other than one brief entry. Any ideas?

I am sure one of the BG experts will be along shortly, however 60%+ of all service records for WWI were destroyed in bombing in 1940, so sometimes a medal record (which is what I presume you've seen?) is all that still exists sadly.

Hi
Read through these - https://www.1914-1918.net/soldiers/research.html
Also note that Findmypast now has more WW1 records, as does Ancestry which now has the medal rolls.
regards
Robert

Thank you. You were correct in thinking that I found a medical record

Hello
Do you have any other information about Thomas John LITTLEWOOD year & place of birth, wife's name if married etc.
There is a whole page of records, mainly medal cards for combinations of the name.
