    Default St Athans RAF WW2

Can anyone give me information regarding St Athan during WW2.
My father was stationed there, and I am trying to find out what
he did. His name was Raymond Read. I understand, but am not
sure, that he was stationed to the base.
In later life he was a Precision Engineer.

    Welcome to British-Genelogy

WW11 service records are still held by the MoD but you can apply for them although you will have a long wait to receive them I think as there are many people doing the same thing this year.
This sticky explains and gives links to the appropriate sites and where to apply for the records. You will need your father's death certificate also.
