Hi
I have found a ship that one of my seaman ancestors was aboard in the Lloyds Shipping Register in 1839. His ship was travelling from London to a port called Demra? Could anybody tell me what the port Demra is?
Many thanks
Thanks

Hi
Thanks for the reply, it was actually the 1838 register. The ship was called Albinia, master S Kind, owners Hall & Co.
Thanks
