    Default Stephenson Rafferty

    Help required please. I am doing a family tree for a friend of mine, all I have is a marriage of Catherine Rafferty & Robert Stephenson on the 29th August 1910 at Willington Quay, Northumberland.

    I assumed (foolishly) that I would be able to find them in the 1911 Census but to no avail. Can you help ??

    Try searching under Katherine Stephenson c1888,together with Robert 1887 who is a lamp crimper.
    Married under a year.
    52 Philip St Newcastle upon Tyne.

    There are 7 Stephenson children born with mother's maiden name Rafferty, born in Newcastle between 1911 and 1930

    Thanks for that.I have found the Census form but it has been transcribed incorrectly as it is definitely a C for Catherine
