Hi i am looking for some help in finding which battle my great great uncle was awarded the DC m. His name was James Riach and he was in 1/6th Seaforths. I have some info from the London Gazette but i am trying to narrow down exactly where he was when the incident happened. As far as i can tell it would possibly been pre Battle of Cambrai. His service number is 267621 date of incident 4th mar 1918. Many thanks to anyone who can help.

Hi there I checked the war diaries but there is nothing mentioned, it seems to have been a time that they werent on the frontline for a few days. I just wondered if the dates were wrong that had been mentioned on his records? Thanks.
