    Default WWII despatches

    My understanding is that only the MOD will release copy of despatch mentioning galantry. Is there a way of searching newspaper publications of the event?

    I think you're asking about citations relating to WW2 Mentions in Despatches.

    You need to read the appropriate National Archives Research Guide
