Geograph aims to collect and display representative photographs for every square kilometre of Great Britain and Ireland. And that makes it a wonderful place to try to find photographs of places that were once important in the lives of your forebears, e.g. the churches where they were baptised, the villages where they lived. Here is the link: https://www.geograph.org.uk/.
All the photographs can be reproduced under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike License: https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/2.0/. Basically, this means that you are free to re-use any photograph as long as you credit the name of the photographer. And that facility is very very useful if, like me, you live a great distance from where your lines originated (or moved to).
It really is a splendid resource.

Hi Cathieee
Geograph might be interested in your photographs, particularly as there are far fewer for Irish locations than for British ones. You would need to join Geograph and then submit some photos. This is a link to FAQs on the site: https://www.geograph.org.uk/faq3.php?l=0.
For Geograph, you have to be able to get your head round the geographical element, e.g. grid references, and they also set the bar quite high for photographs. You submit a photo to a grid square and then wait and see if it is accepted.
If all of that would be a bit off-putting, then it might be easier to put your photos on a photo-sharing website such as Flickr - but you must tag them well so that they can be found.
Hope this helps.
