From the War records I wish to check the DoB (Date of Birth) and Birth place. Is this possible?

Welcome to British-Genealogy Dunnit.
Are you talking WW1 or WW11 records?
Points to consider - More than 60% of WW1 records were destroyed by bombing/fire in WW11 so the persons records you are seeking most probably did not survive. The Medal Roll Index Cards did but these do not show the age of the person.
WW11 records are not online as they are still held by the Ministry of Defence but they can be applied for at a cost of 30 pounds and a long wait.
You could post the name of your man - if deceased - and any other details you know such as parents' names, where lived and died etc and we can see if there is anything to help answer your question.

Perhaps you could explain exactly what the problem is that you want to solve.
