Default Pte Henry Edward Green RMLI

I'm in the process of tracing my granddads military history, Pte Henry Edward Green RMLI enlisted in 1897, he served on a number of ships through out the years and took part in WW1. I know he has the three medals from WW1 but cannot find if he is eligible for other medals from other campaigns such as the Boer War.
    Any Info would be great.

    Hi

Here are his service records - https://discovery.nationalarchives.go...ils/r/D7782904
It should tell you there if he was awarded other medals.

    regards

Try the Fleet Air Arm Museum .... yes that's right ... they do have more information on RMLI men

    https://www.fleetairarm.com/naval-aviation-research.aspx

Email them quoting his service number and ask what they have or phone

We got the 'attestation pack' for great uncle Arthur Galtress RMLI one of the 27 Marines lost on the Clan McNaughton in February 1915 and found much more information than the single page from TNA. He joined in 1910 and is records included his original Maths and English tests as well as a reference from his employer. Well worth the fee charged.
