This man is hiding as Albert SCOTT in the WW1 Service Records (WO 363):
Enlisted in the Worcester Regt, June 1915, declaring age as 24 (b1891?). Served until 1919, then re-enlisted April 1921, giving birthdate as May 1893. Nothing to indicate place of birth.
Father: WILLIAM, home address Stourbridge, Worcestershire. Girlfriend Nellie SHARMAN, Coventry (correspondence with WO).
Middle name Henry occurs only once, on the 1919 Protection Certificate.
Married ROSE BEATRICE in Kidderminster, February 1920. Daughter ROSE BEATRICE born May 1920.
In the BMD Records, the marriage appears twice: Kidderminster, vol 6c, pg 143. Rose Beatrice's surname is CARPENTER. Albert is ALBERT H SCOTT-WHITMORE and also ALBERT H S WHITMORE.
Daughter Rose Beatrice is registered as WHITMORE.
As for his own birth - there are several Albert Scotts born between 1891 & 1894. No Scott-Whitmores. There is an ALBERT HENRY WHITMORE born Q2 1893, in Keynsham - perhaps the most probable?
Good Luck if he's yours!
