Is there a way of finding reports written about soldiers killed during WW1 and/or their photographs.
I am researching 37 soldiers killed during WW1 who attended the school where I work. We have school magazines from that period with the photographs and things written by either their officers or family members after these ex-students had died. But i have about half of those killed for whom i have very little info apart from their names, regiments, and when they fell.

Welcome to British-Genealogy S_Acourt
Firstly have you looked at the CWGC site Here for each of your soldiers? Some entries give next of kin and addresses.
The bad news is that 60% + of WW1 service records were destroyed by bombing/fire in WW11 so it is likely that there are no records for your men but you never know. However there should be Medal Roll Index Cards for them.
If you would like to give us all you know about each man then we could take a look for you and see if there is anything to be found.
Others will be along with their suggestions I am sure.

Your best bet would be to search newspapers in the locality where they were from - most libraries have access to on line historic newspapers.
In terms of trying to get photographs, you would have to make an appeal, either in local newspapers or using social media or the like and see if there are any relatives who have pictures.

If you've got their regiments it's worth 'googling' for a Regimental web site. I know of some, eg Cameron Highlanders, that have photos on - some with names - and some sites have memorial pages for soldiers, uploaded by their families.
I'm sure more members on here would be only too pleased to help if you put some details up as christanel suggests.

The dates in brackets after the name are just when they attended our school. I have photos for the following people on the list:
I have photos for:
N Akhurst

R Mutimer
W Nethersole
S Newman
F Pilcher

Its already proved fascinating as for a select few of them the school magazine published comments by their teachers, as well as descriptions of exactly how they died. I even have letters written to the school by a couple of them when they were alive describing their war experience. But the info i have is very hit and miss and because i teach i have limited time to research. Thus, any further help would be hugely appreciated.

My school is Sir Roger Manwood's Grammar School in Kent. At the time of the war it was an all boys school and had boarders. The school history goes back to the Tudor period but at one stage it closed and only reopened in the 1890s. So the oldest ex-students who fought in WW1 would have been in their early 30s. A couple of the people listed were school masters.

Here are his parents and sisters and brother in 1901 but he isn't with them.
Charles J W White 48
Clara M White 45
Thomas J White 10
Ada A White 14
Clara A White 12
Both ancestry and FMP are playing up and not displaying images for me so I can't see what the other details are for the 1901
Thanks for answering my question so quickly which I had deleted because I had found it for myself.

I think that your Charles H Price is actually Charles Leonard Price because the school is mentioned in his obit. in de Ruvigny's Roll of Honour. There's a picture of him which you can get at if your school or library has a subscription of Ancestry (or if your library has a copy). Flt Lt, only son of Charles George Price (Gen Manager of the Pavilion, Torquay) & his wife Lilian Woods. B Ramsgate 3 Jul 1899, educ Sir Roger Manwood's, appointed to RNAS, transferred to RAF on its formation in 1817, accidentally killed through engine trouble at Yatesbury, Buried Ramsgate. CWGC says he died 11 May 1918.
