1891 census has Samuel as Blind and Edith as Deaf.

Was Samuel a Reverent as I found this

England & Wales, National Probate Calendar (Index of Wills and Administrations), 1858-1966
    Samuel Benjamin Taylor
    Probate Date: 6 May 1922
    Death Date: 19 Dec 1921
    Death Place: Bristol, England
    Registry: Bristol

it refers to Samuel as Reverent Samuel Benjamin Taylor of 26 Downs-Park West, Bristol clerk died 19 Dec 1921

1911 Census says they had 10 children 6 still living, 4 died.
Also says they have been married for 34 years = 1877 (so was Benjamin Taylor

    Thanks for your help, Sandyhall.

On all the census records he doesn't have an occupation listed. Edith was listed as deaf on 1891, but not on the others.
Also I think the B middle name is only listed on one census record.

This is the family link I have, my gt grandfather was Archibald A S Taylor. It all fits for my father and his father.

I thinking the same thing about Benjamin being born before they married.

I've looked on the IGI Batch numbers, and found Samuel and other siblings, so will look into them more.
I'm still looking for the actual birth record. Would a death certificates help me know his parents names, or just the date of death?

The Rev Samuel Benjamin Taylor I don't think is your Samuel as he went to Christ Collage. Cambridge University Alumni, 1261-1900. Was out in India so I think that death in 1921 Bristol is a bit suspect.

Looking for a birth for son Benjamin Taylor I found these

    Births Sep 1871
    Taylor - Benjamin
    Cirencester 6a 346

    Births Dec 1873
    Taylor - Benjamin Ernest
    Cheltenham 6a 412
This I thought was yours but found him on 1901 census with parents Edwin and Susan so that's not him.

If he was born before they married may be he is registered under the mothers name so looked on FreeBMD and found

    Births Mar 1874
    BISHOP Ben
    Malmsbury 5a 51

so could this be a possibility.
