Advice please

Hello I'm very new to this. I have been trying to find my father's WWII Army record but can find nothing at all. His name was George Truslove, born in Leicester in 1910 and my mother told me he was in the Royal Engineers. There is a George Henry Truslove listed (not Royal Engineers) but this is not my father. Advice please - where do I go from here. Thank you all

Sadly not all WW2 Records are available as they are mainly held by the Ministry of Defence.
