WW2 North Africa & Med

Any help with finding my Grandfather who was in North Africa, Libya, Italy & finally Germany. He survived but I have not yet been able to trace him on this website?
I am not sure if it is giving me a detail enough search, any tips I would appreciate.

No WW2 records are online yet, apart from if he died or was awarded a gallantry award.
Read the sticky at the top of each section on how to apply for his records from MOD.

As Robert says the MOD still hold the service records for WW11 and the helpful 'sticky' he refers to is Here

At the moment the usually long wait to receive records has probably grown longer.

There are some others - I've got my father's POW details from UK, British Prisoners of War, 1939-1945 on Ancestry

Indeed, FWR also have all of the datasets currently available (that I know of) for POWs also.
Including Germany (the set on Ancestry) and Italy (exclusive to FWR) and are currently finishing off the 1st set of Far East POW lists (again an exclusive to FWR).
