    Default WWII

    I have just subscribed to this site and I am a little disappointed that I have been unable to track down my dad on this site - he served in the Royal Navy but I haven't been able to find him. Any tips please.

    The MOD holds the WW2 records. Nobody has them.

    It's also worth contacting FWR support -as they may well consider a refund for you given the circumstances -you'll find them quite human.

    The FWR does allow free searches for all records, free support and free guides all of which normally allow new users to ascertain whether they would need to pay a sub however.
