Sherwood Foresters in Italy

Hi I was wondering if anyone can kindly point me in the right direction to find my fathers war records, when I type his name in search nothing comes up for him? also I would love any help on where I can find out where the Foresters fought in Italy in the latter part of the war, my father was transferred from the Warwick's to the Foresters in 1944,
