    Default Peter Cole

    Does anyone remember my great uncle Peter Cole. Born in Dublin so he would have had an irish accent. He was 34 years of age when he died on the 19/7/1944. He was very much loved and mourned by his family now all deceased. My Grandfather found it very emotional so never talked about him. I know its a long shot but any information would gratefully received.

    Presumably you're referring to Private 3715538 Peter Cole of the 1st Bn Kings Own Scottish Borderers, Husband of Rosy Cole, of Dublin.

    Why not order his service record, for a start?
