My father (Nicky Kidd - Scottish Music Hall Singer) was manager of this pub in the 1960s. I am heading to Glasgow in a couple of weeks time and would love to visit if it is still running. I found an entry on-line and phoned the number listed but it was the wrong number. I can't find anything else about it so I'm appealing for help.
Does anyone know if this pub is still running? Maybe it has changed its name?
Any info gratefully received.

Hi
Have you seen this site? https://www.oldglasgowpubs.co.uk/hill...0hamilton.html
There is a contact email address. Whether it is still relevant...?

A 2014 Daily Record news item about a Quick Save store mentions it "stands next to where the Hillhouse Inn pub was recently demolished" and that "Supermarket Tesco have expressed an interest in the now-vacant Hillhouse Inn site, and are understood to be considering building a Tesco Express".

Feed the postcode ML3 9TE into Google maps and use Streetview. Look around a bit and you'll see the boarded up Hillside Inn.

Ah well, that's that then! I should have gone sooner.
