This thread follows up previous threads and posts on the Lyons/Levey lines one of which relates to my own Hart family. As promised to my Levey/Hart distant relatives I have been researching Lyons ( Lyon) individuals who may further relate to the Lyons/Levey lines first researched and posted on.
In this new thread the focus is on Aaron Lyons b abt 1828-1895 who married Fanny aka Frances Nathan 1830-1897. This family appear on one Ancestry.Com family tree which also includes the Levey/Lyons/Hart lines. but there is no direct connection, as yet, between the lines. This thread seeks to identify if such links are confirmed.
Data on these two individuals appears on Cemetery Scribes and Synagogues Sites. Their marriage GSMa 101/36 -3 March 1850 is on Synagogue Scribes website- Aaron Lyons ( Aharon) Father's Hebrew name Aharon- Fanny Nathan (Fradke) father's Hebrew name Napthali. The Cemetery Scribes records for Aaron Lyons including data on his wife and children appear as ID12873 and for Fanny as ID 1284. This data also includes in the case of Fanny further data on her parents Henry Nathan and his possible wife Maria Hyams. Some Ancestry.Com family trees also identify the father of Aaron Lyons as Aaron Lyons 1799-1885 and Rachel Martin (Nunes Martines) 1801-1884. Synagogue Scribes Marriage records show- GSM262/46- 20 Sept 1829- Rachel Martin father's Hebrew name Aharon Nunes Martines ( Sephardic)- Aaron LYON - father's Hebrew name-Yehuda Leib. There are further census records on this family which indicate marriages to Mendoza and Nathan individuals.
One family tree indicates that the parents of Aaron Lyon aka Lyons were Barnett Lyon 1780-1845 and Esther Fonsaker 1800-1878 but I have yet to look in detail regarding the accuracy of this data.
