    Trove Missing Friends 1 April 1906 has the following

    CATCHPOLE Robert left Lowestoft 1902 for New Zealand in Hobart 1903

    14/10/1886

    CATCHPOLE.George -On the 29th September, at his residence, Rose and Crown Hotel, Cooper's Plains, George, the beloved husband of Maria Catchpole, aged 61 years,

    issue Saturday 1 June 1918

    . DEATH OF MRS. CATCHPOLE. I The death of a very old and highly respected resident of Oxley, Mrs Catchpole, pole, relict of the late Mr George Catchpole, took place recently at her re- dence at Oxley, at the age of 84 years The late Mr and Mrs Catchpole arrived in Queensland by the steamer Hastings
    before Separation, and took up their re- sidence in the Oxley district, where they resided for the remainder of their lives
    Mrs Catchpole, better known in the district as 'Granny," was predeceased by her husband some 31 years ago. She leaves in all 111 descendents, including 4 sons, 5 daughters, 58 grandchildren, and
    44 great grandchildren

    surviving children are Mrs L Grenier (Kangaroo Point), Mrs T Crompton (Sidney street, Nundah ), Mrs J Crompton (Bown Hills) Mrs W Crompton (Manly) Mrs P P Marshall (Thompson Estate), Messrs C Catchpole (Zillmere), R Catchpole (Beaudesert), W
    Catchpole (Oxley), and J Catchpole
    DEATH.
    CROMPTON -On the 21st January,1887 at Thornton-lane,
    Valley, Ruby Alice, only child of William and Agnes
    Crompton, and granddaughter of Mrs. G. Catchpole,
    Cooper's Plains, aged 1 year.

    Interesting I cannot find an obituary!

    I couldnt find a obituary or anything for Robert 1938 neither.

    The Robert who married Cronk is the only one i can find in Beaudesert.

    Others on the Hastings Charlotte b 1833 & Charles b 1835

    If this information is correct the Robert CATCHPOLE of Beaudesert (son, mentioned in Maria's obituary) who died 1938 was born in Australia!
