    Welcome to British-Genealogy crownart

To close the time frame a little this appears to be William and Ann in US 1880 census but I think you may have given us the wrong age for the 1900 census
William Hopkins 50 farming born England
    Ann Hopkins 51 born England
    Matilda Hopkins 17
    Servetus Hopkins 14

Possible that I gave the wrong age for 1900 Census - I think I meant 1870 Census - William 42 and Ann 41 (both born in England) Good thing I was an art history major and not a math major!

Any suggestions on where to look for information on emigration routes/lists from UK to US c. 1830-1870. Don't know when/where they arrived in US. Any common routes?
