    Default Richard Oliver Phillack Cornwall

Trying to find where Richard has gone. He was on the 1871 census aged 16 with his family in Cornwall. Then he disappears.
I have come across a Richard from Cornwall who immigrated to USA. The said destination is Michigan. 1874 Occupation Mason. (Strange coincidence his father Charles was a Mason) Comment that is on the Cornwall OPC site says details are for father, wife Sarah Jane-Cornish.
Can some one help me to find out what this all means.
    Thanks:

    Hi Wentworth
    You say
" Comment that is on the Cornwall OPC site says details are for father, wife Sarah Jane-Cornish. "

I have been on the site and doing a search for baptisms I can't even brig up a Richardwith father Charles. What am I doing wrong?

    Hi Christanel,

From the Cornwall OPC home page go to the drop down box headed 'Extra Searches' and choose 'Emigration' enter 1874 Richard Oliver.

Thanks for all the replies. Because I am in SOuth Australia the time zone is about 12hours difference.
I have read all the replies and have come up with all that you have. I am ruling Richard out of going to America only because his brothers came out to Australia and as I have only just discovered Richard on a census with his family did not know he existed. So will start looking here in Australia.
    Thanks for all the help
    Pat
