Hello
My name is Chris and I have been research into my family but I am stuck I have traced my family back to 1820 but as I said I don't know we're i can find the next link.
I have traced my fathers side of the family back to Charles Isaac who was born in Blandford Dorset I think his farther was John Isaac but I cannot confirm this or who his mother was so if anyone has any ideas I would be grateful
Thanks Chris

Hello Chris I am putting this census record on here as a base from which to start. I know it is not the earliest one but it is the first one that came up for me. This is your family?

there was a John ISAAC, a Baker, and his wife Margaret having kids in Blandford Forum from 1814. A copy of Charles' marriage certificate will confirm or dispute whether his father was called John.
The only John ISAAC I could see on the 1841 Census for Blandford Forum was born about 1820.

From looking at Nicolina's link to Dorset OPC earlier I am wondering if your Charles was actually bpt as Henry Charles and in 1841 is with his father John
