Apologies for dragging up an old thread, I too am researching the Ellis family (Kathryn who stated the post is my mothers cousin).

We know a lot about John Ashford Ellis and Peter Ellis after they reached N.Z/Australia but am wondering where I might find ships manifests and the like to find actual departure dates from the U.K ?
