    Default Cross & Bowling Green Bransons Cross Beoley

    Hi All

    has anyone a photo of the Cross & Bowling Green before it became an Indian or any other photos of the Alcester Rd in that area.

    Hi Mike.

    I've been past it many times. Did it become an 'Indian' (restaurant) or did the restaurant side simply adopt an 'Indian' cuisine?

    I'm inclined to think the latter. As also happened at the Sandy's Arms at Wickhamford.

    For photographs, have you tried the Birmingham History Forum? I know it's not Brum but the members there did, on occasions, when armed with cameras 'escape' to surrounding areas.
