I found this very informative newspaper cutting today whilst browsing Ancestry for the death registration of Richard and it has thrown up some new information.
Now I want to try and find out about his children which it mentions but I don't know where to start as Ancestry doesn't seem to have any records for children born to Richard & Ella Vira Witherell.

I am not 100% but I think Canada has a closure rule for 100years, i.e latest Birth records available will be 1913
Richard Witherall was born 1904 and in 1911 was with some of his siblings in Henniker House Fulham Guardians Receiving Home, 9 Parsons Green
look at www.workhouse.org.uk
Marie & Gerald YENSON were living at 96 Waterloo Street Waterloo in 1974

Thank you for replying, geneius.
I know all about Richard's siblings and parents, it is his wife and children that I am looking to find information on though as I can't seem to find anything about them apart from a few other memorial notices stating the names of their siblings.

Hello
It was meant to be a startig point for others who may wish to assist you as your opening post did not state the date of birth or death of Richard WITHERALL it did mention his wife pre deceased him in 1976!

In that case, please accept my apologies.
Richard Witherall (Witherell) was born in Fulham in the December quarter of 1902 and was sent to Canada after being in the home that geneius found him in on the 1911 census.
I know he married a woman named Ellavera and have found a memorial for her which gives her full name as Ellavera Catharina Reibling, this has helped me find who her parents were from other memorials but I cannot work out the details of Richard & Ellavera's children (even to an approximate year), if geneius is correct and Canadian records have a 100 year closure rule then I could be in for a bit of a wait.
I'm really looking for any information on Ellavera's children and siblings who are as follows:
Siblings;
Hilda
Henry
Milton
Children;
Donna
Marie
Ellavera's memorial states that she was predeceased by one brother and one sister so I guess that Henry & Hilda both died before Ellavera as I have seen one family tree on Ancestry that has someone listed as private which could be Milton but it could be another sibling.

Hi, I did this in a rush before dinner so hadn't noticed the presentation of children. This is how I think it works.
"Harold (Doreen) Wagner, Irene Hofstetter, Audrey (Peter) Switzer, Dorothy (Merlyn) Martin"
Harold Wagner married Doreen ?. Irene Hofstetter(umm, not sure,) Audrey wagner married Peter Switzer and Dorothy married Merlyn Martin
Others may have a better understanding of it.

The memorial of Philip Wagner, husband of Hilda, is on the International Find A Grave site where it gives the names of his and Hilda's children as in the previous post. Irene married Jack Hofstetter.
John Louis Hofstetter 1923 - 1997
Irene's name is on the headstone with a birthdate of 1933 but no date of death.
Philip Wagner was born 1893 and died 1985.
Canada, Voters Lists, 1935-1980
Lorne Avenue
Perth; Wilmot, Ontario
Peter and Audrey Switzer
He an office manager
Also in the same street John K Switzer and Mrs Laurine Switzer. He is a farmer.
Audrey and Peter are still there in 1974. I think Audrey died in 2009.
