I am new to this site but have been researching my Genealogy for over 12 years.
The most difficult thing I find is getting information on ancestors who have chosen to live in England.One such person was Kenneth Alexander Stewart, He was born in Dingwall, Ross Shire in 1900 but worked as a footman for the Duke and Duchess of Buckingham. He was in the West Surrey's during the war but never saw active service. Has anybody got any ideas.

What sort of information are you after.

1901 Scotland census. Living in Dingwall.
Father - Alexander Stewart b.1865. Inverness. Occ. Ploughman.
Mother - Christina Stewart. b.1867. Plockton, Ross Shire. (Maiden name, possibly Matheson).

1911 Scotland census.
They are living in Fodderty, Ross Shire. Married 22 years, and 8 children born to the marriage.

Steve I should have been more specific, His father was Alexander Stewart and his mother was indeed Christina Matheson, both died in Maryburgh. But I am after any thing on him after he left Scotland. I know he was married but to whom, I have no idea or where he lived or died.

I cannot find a birth in Devon for Kenneth A. Stewart. So I can only assume this maybe him.
