    John's correct surname is FULLAGAR, not -er at the end.
    When you look at his service record on Ancestry, it is clearly -AR.
    I've corrected the spelling in the first post in this thread.

    Birth registered Hartlepool registration district June quarter 1888.
    Married as William Fullagar September quarter 1912 to Mary E Carney.

    Death registered as John W Fullager in 1919.
    I'll put a post-em on FreeBMD, about the misregistration of his name, with a little note about how he died and where to find the details. (I would love to add 'Thanks to Jane from BG for these details', but think I should show some
    restraint. )
    ADDED: Post-ems added to his birth and marriage details on FreeBMD as well.
