That's it! I've been reading through the wills I bought (I bought a bunch of early ones of Droitwich since I have a lot of lines there). I found the will of Elizabeth's stepfather, Thomas Geers. I believe the 'brother-in-law' is, instead, her stepbrother.
Especially, since the will mentions, two brothers, no sisters, and I know both of her husband's names (Watts and Squire)
Thanks everyone!
Well, that's one mystery solved, although a heap remain (sigh)
I'm trying to find the identity of my ancestor George Grove's brother-in-law John Squire, and whether or not he was the brother of George's wife (whose maiden name I do not know).
I already know that George Grove's friend Joseph Woodhouse married Ann Squire, daughter of Elizabeth and her second husband, so I'm hoping there's some connection.
I'm trying to find the first name of that husband, and not having much luck.

Tanya,
Job well done! Quite obvious when you know the answer. Except for the "e" or "o" tagged on the end, which didn't help at all! Congrats
