    Unhappy Prison Photos

    5 years ago an elderly relative paid two researchers to unsuccessfully hunt for a photo of a mutual relative.
    I told her to stop and I would go and have a look. 4 years later.....
    I got round to it yesterday. 6hours travelling at a cost of £30 and now we have a photo of my Mums Great Uncle George WILLIAMS and I have phoned our relative to let her know we have the photo!

    Today the same photo has been published online by findmypast

    Unbelievable!

    Delighted all round. And I now believe that findmypast have only published the quarter session records and not the actual images themselves so thats a relief - wasn't a totally wasted trip!
