Has anyone noticed relatives/ancestors with the name Amelia and then changing it to Emily, and vice versa. Is it the sort of forename that can be interchanged? Any experiences?
Thank you
Ewan

Thank you cicilysmith, the names do look similar to me, and I just wondered if they were both used sometimes.

I have one or two Emily/Amelia mixes in my tree. It did seem to happen quite a bit, rather like Caroline/Catherine which dont seem similar at all.
