    Default headmaster gone to war

    HI

can you help ? we have compiled a local history for the village school concerning the names on the war memorial , for WW2 .

i have uncovered that the Head master of the village school left in 1941 to join up , we have his details from the absentee voters list , but are unable to find his war details .

George Alfred Jones Corporal 93380 Royal Garrison Artillery 124 H.B ( what does this mean ? ).

as always any help in the right direction please

    Dean

I think 124 H.B refers to Royal Garrison Artillery 124th Heavy Battery.
