Hi.
Looking for the following
#Richard Webb & Elizabeth?
#Henry Webb b.c. 1744 m. #Margaret Trevailer 29/1/1769.
Trewren is supposedly to be in the family & the only one I can find is
Edward Webb
England, Marriages, 1538–1973 marriage: 20 Nov 1718 Saint Buryan,Cornwall,England
spouse: Joan Trewren
Any help re children of Edward & Joan would be great particularly if they had a son Richard. Richards wife was Elizabeth?
Cheers,
Gary.

From Cornwall opc database:
Henry Webb Son of Richard & Elizabeth was baptised at Truro, St Mary's 17 April 1743. There was another child, William baptised 5 Aug 1739, But no marriage that fits for Richard & Elizabeth
The marriage of Henry & Margaret was at Redruth.
The only baptism I can find for a child of Edward & Joan was at St Buryan 26 Feb 1718 - Robert not Richard I'm afraid.

I found these amongst some parish transcripts:
The Robert in 1718 mentioned by Lesleys, plus:
Edward Webb son of Edward Webb and Joan
bap 25 Feb 1726 St Buryan
Sarah Webb dau of Edward Webb and Joan
bap 15 May 1831 St Buryan
Assuming the correct family, big gaps between these children, so maybe more somewhere - also Edward and Sarah not on Cornwall opc.
The only birth record I could see for a Joan Trewren or similar:
Jone Trewin dau of Andrew Trewin (no mother named)
baptised 25 April 1691
Stratton, Cornwall
Stratton about 80 miles from St Buryan, could be too far away, but you never know!

I wouldn't have found Sarah and Edward on Cornwall opc anyway Lesleys - I searched 1810!
...and did you spot the deliberate mistake for Sarah in my thread No 3

Hi:
What parish was Edward Webb from? Joan had sisters - Elizabeth born 1689 Sancreed, Ann born 1694 Sancreed, and Sarah who died as an infant in 1686. I'm descended from Ann.

There are no Webb baptisms in the Sancreed parish registers for the period of 1718-1740.
